DANG DAG NABBIT!

Guys we're getting pounded! 7 inches now, more falling, temps going below zero tonight! Can you say "deep freeze"?

  1. We're getting hit with an equal amount of snow right now. I'm hunkered down and looking forward to a restful day indoors. Best wishes and Happy New Year!

  2. Brrrr! Deb you are officially invited to Victoria, the land of rainy winter & virtually no snow. Year round scooting!

  3. No bueno. Kind of makes it hard to take that new scooter out.

Hopefully the cold spell breaks and it melts before to long. Fingers crossed.

It's all your fault. You're the one with the new scooter

  7. Deb:

If it makes you feel any better, we had icy roads this morning. First time in weeks

    1. Snow I can handle. I hate driving on ice!

  8. I've got a Vespa scooter. I don't put it in mothballs over the winter, because sometimes I can ride even in the middle of middle here in Boston. I keep it in a non-heated garage. Once a week I start it up just to keep it lubricated.

Yesterday it was minus 5 degrees. The Vespa, as always, started right up.

Even in the coldest winter, my scooter WANTS to go riding!

  9. I did the exact same thing on the farm with my Ruckus and Met each winter. Uninsulated garage too. Never had a problem.

So that is what I am doing with my Buddy too. I almost succumbed to a battery tender set-up, but thought, naw, if it worked before it should keep on working.

I like to be able to sneak in a little ride whenever I can, even if it's only around the storage facility.
