I miss our dogs and their friendship a great deal but it just isn't fair to have the canines around here these days. Our two housecats spend far too much time on my lap around here in the winter and I'd miss them terribly if they weren't here, regardless of their nuisanceness.
Snuggle with the poochas is the best! My poocha is snuggling in regularly with us it seems. She sleeps at the foot of the bed and then when she gets chilly in the wee hours of the morning she comes up and nuzzles up around my neck and I slide the covers over her and then she resumes snooring in harmony with the hub.
I have two cats now, but I miss being owned by my black labs. They kept me nice and warm on many a cold night when I lived in Pittsburgh. Of course I was only allowed 16 square inches on my bed....
Deb:
ReplyDeleteI get so sad when I think about dogs. We used to have two Chows and I think of them all the time, but they are both gone now

Ah, I'm so sorry...
DeleteMaybe it's time to bring in two puppy companions? :-)

ReplyDeleteI used to have a kitty. He lived to the ripe old age of 20. Darn cat went all over the world with me in the Navy!
DeleteNow I am a "dog person", but if I ever get back to country living we will keep a few cats around again.
I miss their "cat ways" and the gentle purr sounds.

ReplyDeleteI can relate! One on each side, one in the middle! So sweet and snuggly.

ReplyDeleteI understand the lack of "acreage" in the bed! LOL
DeleteBTW, I cannot post on your blog-have tried many times.
It just won't let me.
I also tried to email you but could not figure out how to do so.
Anyway, I've enjoyed your blog posts and wish I could respond to them. Just wanted to let you know...
