Gettin' Pissy, Havin' a Hissy!

And you Southerners know what THAT means!

And I'll tell you why...I am ready to go and pick up my Elite 110 and ride her the 50 miles home but the forecast is for nothing but thunderstorms, thunderstorms, and more thunderstorms through next week!

I am really hoping to be able to get a ride over and pick her up on Saturday!

Sure wanting to ride-I miss it so much!

Know the feeling. It's been raining, drizzling, pouring or just plain sheeting rain for 5 days now. Arrrgggh.

Fingers are crossed for a sunny day to ride it home.

We've had a lot of rain the last few days but I'm hoping for riding weather this weekend.

How riding transformed my life...

In June of 2007, at the age of 52, I began to know the simple joys of riding a Honda Ruckus scooter. It changed my life for the better in so many ways. It got me out of the house and out into nature. It helped me learn to appreciate the simple things in life that bring inner peace and happiness. I've come to notice the clouds, the birds, the ponds, the moon, the curves of the roads that I ride. I see people and animals on my journeys and have come to feel more a part of the life around me. I've connected to friends on scooter forums across the country who bring energy into my life. I have something to look forward to every single day and that is a scooter ride. No matter how hard the times, a scooter ride seems to clear out the mental cobwebs and chase the blues away. I highly recommend it to anyone~
