Opened the apartment door this morning and looked out onto a marshmallow world...
Everywhere is quiet beauty...
Mother Earth is wrapped in a big warm, fluffy blanket of frosty silence...
Stopping by my favorite hiking trail after work, the trees are adorned with icy lace...
Winter has brushed the world in a quiet peacefulness...
We got some of that :^)
ReplyDeleteThink you guys passed it over to us!
DeleteWe had "sugar cookie" snow and now you have "marshmallow" snow...That must mean winter is starting out to be very sweet indeed! Wouldn't it be nice to have a perfect, excellent, wonderful winter? In all ways???
ReplyDeleteSaaaweeet! :=)
DeleteI think it will be awesome!
Deb when you put it that way, it's not half as bad as I'm inclined to think it is.
ReplyDeleteYou got blessed with a very pretty snowfall.
I'm in Anchorage, Alaska and we don't have snow. Never seen a winter like this. It was 36 degrees yesterday in Anchorage. I've never seen this and I've lived here for almost 40 years. Good grief. Love the photos. It does look fairyland like...and snow always makes everything quiet...like a big blanket
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. I always loved walking throughout he snow in the quiet of the day.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
I can honestly say that I don't miss the snow. However there is something magical about the first snowfall of the season, and I agree that the quiet is good for the soul.
ReplyDeleteAfter that first snow however, you can keep it. :)
Pretty much will have to agree with you there!
DeleteI actually got the chance to ride through the marshmallow snow on my way back from the grocery store last Friday! My little red Metro and I scooted through fat falling snowflakes and it felt magical. (And thankfully I didn't have to go far to get home, and the roads weren't messy yet!)
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome image, you and that little Met amid the snowflakes!
DeleteWoo Wee!
